The Guardian did a nice piece on our 8 minutes idle Kickstarter campaign to help get the indie film out of distribution limbo and into cinemas by Valentine’s Day 2014. As of this post, we’ve had 111 backers and raised £7,889 of our £20,000 goal with 22 days to go! Help support us by sharing the story and even contributing if you can (there are some rather exciting prizes!).

We’ve just launched a Kickstarter campaign to get 8 minutes idle into the cinema for Valentine’s Day 2014 – its been an arduous 3 years in the making and last year only weeks before release, our distributor Revolver went bust. We now have match funding from Creative England for an independent release if we can raise the money so have started the Kickstarter campaign to close the gap. We love the film and want you all to see it – any help would be hugely appreciated and even if you can’t contribute, please spread the word!

Time To Shine is Creative Scotland’s first national arts strategy for young people and we had the pleasure of making a film for them earlier this year, directed by Sarah Cox, to help launch the project. We worked with The Gate Films in Edinburgh to create a short film using drawings and animation from workshops with young people across Scotland; we then took this artwork back to our studios and put it all together with our own bits of animation/filming/pixellation with the help of some lovely young people in Bristol. Watch the film here or on our Work page.
