LFF announced their full line up yesterday and chosen as the Cult Gala this year was A Liar’s Autobiography, which will be its European premiere following the world premiere at TIFF this Saturday. The Cult Gala screening, in association with Empire, will be on 16th October at 9pm in Leicester Square - tickets go on sale on the 24th September. Oh yeah, and there’s a new poster too!

The long-awaited trailer for this epic animated adventure into Graham Chapman’s life (including all the naughty bits) is now online for you to see! Get a sneak preview of all the different animation styles, including bits from Matthew Walker’s sometimes slightly censored scenes and George Sander-Jackson’s sections that stray into the darker side of Graham’s story. In cinemas this November for the US, early 2013 for the UK.

Project Chapman 3D have teamed up with Adobe for Animate Chapman, a competition open to anyone and everyone who wants to contribute to the upcoming film “A Liar’s Autobiography: the Untrue Story of Monty Python’s Graham Chapman”. The news is out! The Project Chapman team will be heading to TIFF this September for the world premiere of “A Liar’s Autobiography: The Untrue Story of Monty Python’s Graham Chapman”. This 3D stereoscopic feat of animation, that includes sections directed by Matthew Walker and George Sander-Jackson, will be screening in a Special Presentation alongside new films from Terrence Malick, Joe Wright and Dustin Hoffman.

Not only is Itch of the Golden Nit screening in competition at Anima Mundi this year, Sarah is also doing an animated chat on Friday the 20th and showing a retrospective of ArthurCox work, new and old. For those of you are in Brazil for Anima Mundi and general basking in the sun, the programme of films is repeating on Sunday the 22nd as well so if you miss Friday’s talk (or just love the films so much you want to see them again!), make sure to catch the screening on Sunday at 5pm.
