  2. Matthew Walker wins place on Accelerate scheme

Congratulations to Matthew Walker for being selected to participate in a writing workshop pilot this December by Animate Projects.

Industry experts from across the UK nominated animators who have established success with short film, and ambition to develop their practice further. The six were selected, after submitting expressions of interest, for their varied backgrounds and styles of animation, and for their demonstrable interest in developing innovative animated narrative work.

In the workshop, the participants will be encouraged to write completely new short, experimental fictions with writer Tony White as their guide. These stories will inform or be part of the final scripting process, with the view that each participant will produce a new script for a short animated film. Watch this space….!

  2. ArthurCox features in Bristol Genius book

The Book of Bristol Genius is a celebration of achievements past, present and future and in the chapter called ‘Media’ you’ll find a few paragraphs about ArthurCox and Sarah’s work on the Tate Movie Project and A Time Traveller’s Guide to Bristol.  The whole book, written by Melanie Kelly, is a lovely little treasure trove of all the best bits about Bristol.
